Public Adjudication
Details
Public adjudication is a rapidly expanding form of dispute resolution. Yet only limited professional development resources are currently available to assist public adjudicators in navigating their unique adjudicative practices. The field includes tribunals, review bodies, commissions, regulators and many other organisations that are called upon to make binding decisions outside of the traditional courts. This Public Adjudication Companion provides practitioners with a thoughtful, hands-on and accessible companion, to assist them in thinking about and tackling the considerable challenges that are faced by the sector. The text, examples and exercises are designed to stimulate discussion regarding the "key excellences" of the public adjudication role. Public Adjudication is an essential handbook for practitioners, trainers and students of adjudication practice and theory. It will also appeal to those citizens who are interested in exploring this vital and increasingly important segment of the professional adjudication world. "This is an excellent piece of work - it will be useful to adjudicators everywhere." Judge Edwin L. Felter: Senior Administrative Law Judge, Colorado U.S.A
