Basheka is an Adjunct Professor of Political Science and Public administration at the School of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is also the Head of Higher Degrees at the Uganda Management Institute in Kampala-Uganda. He is an editor of two academic Journals.
