Are the British public restricted by their creativity, due to the lack of support for the arts? This publication looks at why the British public don't appreciate public art in comparison to other art communities around the world such as New York, Los Angeles and France. Studying various organisations that support, encourage and fund public art projects and how they aim to revitalise areas in community such as New York. Also covering the internationally recognised Fourth plinth which has displayed some of the worlds most celebrated artists' work in the heart of London. Public art is an indication of how we see the world, and the artist's reflection of our current social state combined with our own sense of who we are.
