Public Policy Action for Afro-Ecuadorians within the Constitutional Framework

Afro-descendant groups in Ecuador have gone through a process of renewal, in order to continue exercising peaceful resistance in order to move forward. In the last census of population and housing held in the country in 2010, about one million people defined themselves as Afro-Ecuadorian, so it was necessary to promote in depth and form a special reform to be able to move forward policies that promote non-discrimination, taking into account that along with the indigenous, the "blacks" as they are historically called, are marginalized even in this XXI century, they have limited access to formal work, to a complete and comprehensive education, to a decent and sometimes expensive health system, in addition to their campaign proposals to improve public policies have not been taken into account eh here the manifestation of looking for better days.
