Public Policy and the Control of HIV/AIDS in Benue State, Nigeria, essentially, set out and assessed the impact of the Benue State AIDS Control Agency (BENSACA) in the fight against the incidence and prevalence of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Benue State, Nigeria between 2002 and 2010. The State is consistently reputed as having the highest HIV prevalence rate of infection in Nigeria. By implication, this clearly represents a serious threat to the State s development agenda of Our Benue; Our Future economic blue print. Public policy is that framework by which successive governments both at the national and state levels in Nigeria have being using to better the socio-economic conditions of Nigerians since independence. The book is therefore recommended for all who have interest on the subject of public policy and the control of HIV/AIDS.

Julius John Achanya hails from Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. He graduated from the Department of Political Science, University of Jos,(Second Class Upper Division.
