Purchasing Activity under Supply Chain Management

The current research done on the application of Multi-Agent technology for the flow of information between various departments within the organization. After highlighting the overall frame work for information sharing, it discusses about the development of agents in the form of autonomous software that concentrate on purchasing activities. Each agent is capable of communicating with other agents to share the information. The new features are designed against existing functions in purchasing activities which are running in current industries. SCM works within and out of the organization also . By concentrating this point in mind the software has designed in such way that both within and out of the organization users can utilize.
