High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Qi Yuwu (Chinese: ; pinyin: Q Yùw ; born 28 November 1976) is a Chinese television and film actor based in Singapore, born in Guangzhou, China. He is a Permanent Resident of Singapore and a citizen of the PRC, a contracted artiste under Singapore's Mediacorp Studios. Qi was a Physical Education major graduate. He was the champion as well as Mr Personality in the China Round of Asian Star Search 1999, Singapore's regional talent search contest. Prior to signing to MediaCorp Studios, he was a model and had played the lead role in a Guangzhou TV serial. Qi was cast alongside regional artistes in his debut TV series, Master Swordsman Lu Xiao Feng. This was immediately followed by Dare To Strike, another blockbuster co-production with veteran Hong Kong actors.
