High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Qiang Wei is a politician of the People's Republic of China, and the current secretary of CPC Qinghai committee. He joined the Communist Party of China in March 1975, and graduated from University of Science and Technology of China with a master's degree in economic management. He was a soldier of the People's Liberation Army of China at the military mechanic workshop of Navy Fujian base. He was then employed by Beijing Chemical Engineering Factory and later promoted to vice head of sixth laboratory of Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Reagents and vice director of the Institute. He subsequently became the CPC Party chief of Beijing Chemical Engineering Factory. In June 1987, he was appointed as the secretary of Communist Youth League Beijing committee. In December 1990, he became the secretary of CPC committee of Shijingshan District of Beijing, as well as the chairman of district people's congress. He was elevated to a standing committee member of CPC Beijing committee in December 1992, and the secretary of Beijing municipal construction commission in January 1993.
