Quality Control of Technetium-99 Generator

Quality Control units should have well documented procedures for the implementation of Quality Control (QC), which should be undertaken for each starting material used in the production as well as for finished products. Quality Control (QC) measures of technetium-99m generator are necessary to ensure that it complies with all the requirements and specifications laid out for it. This book has been produced to meet the need expressed by nuclear medicine physicists and technologists for clear and detailed description of the quality control of technetium-99m generator. Giving attention to the quality control of radiopharmaceuticals in the nuclear departments will result in improving the diagnostic information, reducing the radiation doses to patients and staff, and reducing costs through effective use of radiopharmaceuticals.
