Quality of Life and Psycho-Social Concerns of Paraplegic: A Study
Details
Paraplegia is a life condition in which we cannot move our body from hip downwards. We become wheelchair bound and whole life changes around us. Earlier this was considered as a disaster, but is no more. There are a lot of rehabilitation facilities available today and moreover, the percentage of population affected is ever increasing. But still when we examine the lives of existing paraplegics, how much quality of living they enjoy is a matter of concern. A lot needs to be examined about their functional capacity, their satisfaction in life and so on. This Study tries to throw light into these aspects. Also a literature review is included which can be useful for people interested in the subject.
