Quality of life of diabetic foot ulcer patients

Heberprot-P® (Herber-Biotec, Cuba) is a genetically engineered epidermal growth factor, an effective drug for the healing of diabetic foot ulcers. Its administration, along with metabolic control, reduces the risk of amputation and improves health-related quality of life (HRQoL). It refers specifically to the health of the individual, and is used to designate the concrete outcomes of clinical assessment and therapeutic decision-making.
