High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Rabbit in the Vestibule is the first album of the Canadian progressive rock band Half Past Four, released in October 2008. Album recording officially started in November 2006, shortly after scoring horror/comedy film The Mad. The bed-track was completed by January 2007 and from that point on each musician recorded their parts individually. Having a computer Pro-tools system on hand, band members had the freedom to experiment with their parts, thus creating a multitude of new arrangements. Recording was completed in June 2007. Next, Half Past Four started looking for a sound engineer to mix and master the album, while slow starting work with an artist to create unique cover art. In March 2008, Juno Award winner Jono Grant was hired to mix and master the album. Work was completed late April 2008. The album was officially released October 25th 2008 at the Blue Moon Pub in Toronto, Canada.
