Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Rachel Bolan (born February 9, 1966) was born James Southworth. He is the bass player and primary songwriter of New Jersey metal band, Skid Row. He founded the band in 1986 with guitarist Dave "The Snake" Sabo. Rachel has appeared as a vocalist on two of Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley''s solo albums, and also formed Prunella Scales, which also featured one-time Skid Row drummer Phil Varone (ex-Saigon Kick). Though Phil Varone was not yet in Skid Row at the time, this occurred when Skid Row broke with vocalist Sebastian Bach in 1996. Also joining the band for tour duties were Jack Roberts on guitar and Ray Kubian on drums, both from the Jersey based band Mars Needs Women.
