Non-Hispanic whites made up 50.5% of the city's population according to the survey. However, non-Hispanic whites made up 51.9% of Denver's population in the 2000 Census. Therefore, there was a small decline in the percentage of whites since the 2000 Census. However, they still make up roughly half of the the city's population.
