The Racine Threat are a semi-pro/amateur football team of the MidStates Football League, of which they are the current defending champions based in Racine, Wisconsin. Despite being based in Racine, Wisconsin, the Threat have had to play most of their games at Alan Ameche Field in Kenosha because of the Racine Raiders having top priority on historic Horlick Field. However, the Threat are seeking opportunities to play in Racine for 2011 and beyond, including a potential move to Hammes Field on the campus of Jerome I. Case High School. In 2009 the Racine Threat finally broke through with winning its first championship in team history. The Threat steamrolled the Lincoln-Way Patriots to the tune of a 37 to 14 victory.
