The monograph determines optimal technological parameters of radiation treatment of polymer and composite coatings with Gamma-rays, providing them with high value of physical-mechanical and operational properties. Determination of optimum technological parameters of irradiation dose of polymeric and composite coatings depending on the type and nature of polymers, fillers and substrate. Study of wear resistance and other performance properties according to the methods outlined in the relevant GOSTs. For wider implementation of Gamma - ray modified polymeric and composite coatings in various fields of industry, it is necessary to conduct science-based research and identify optimal technological parameters - modes of Gamma - irradiation of coatings, as well as the choice of appropriate polymers and fillers. The results of the study influence the type of polymers, development of optimal technological parameters of composite polymeric coatings treatment with Gamma-rays, providing them with high adhesion, strength properties and wear resistance, leading to improved performance and durability in abrasive operating conditions.
