Radio Be-94 is a recently founded radio station in Tirana, Albania, and is the youngest in the Capital. Be-94 began broadcasting in 2007 and was founded by Gjergj Poci and Andi Alimema. Be-94 is at present a commercial free station promoting electronic music and artists. Playlists comprise of minimal electronic and chillout tracks and are constructed by the station''s DJs, which include EriD, a well known local DJ. The station has occasional live DJ shows, which are performed for two to three hours during the evenings. The logo of the station is a circular red logo with the words Be-94 written inside it in modern white lettering. The jingles which can be heard between tracks were recorded in the studio in August 2008 by Simon Holpin, from Worcester in the UK, and were first broadcast in October 2008. The owners are currently pursuing a sponsorship company for advertising on the station.
