Radio Peace is the English version of the radio ministry of the Archdiocese of Miami. It is also the sister station of Radio Paz the Spanish version. Radio Peace is broadcast throughout most of South Florida through WLVJ 1040 AM, as well as over the Internet. Radio Peace and Radio Paz are both 24 hour Catholic radio stations. In December 1990 Fr. Federico Capdepon realized his great vision when he founded their sister station Radio Paz. The vision was of a place where parishes, bishops and priests could evangelize through the media. After founding Radio Paz it was decided that the community and the world needed an English version as well which lead to the founding of Radio Peace in 1993.
