The track was released as a free red 7" vinyl with the June 6, 2007 issue of the NME magazine, with 120,000 copies made and an etching with drummer Meg White's face on it. The song is told from the point of view of two rag and bone collectors, portrayed by both Jack and Meg White. The song's conventional verses and choruses are interspersed with a spoken narrative. The White Stripes are an American rock duo, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan. The group consists of songwriter Jack White (vocals, guitar, and keyboards) and his ex-wife Meg White (drums and occasional vocals).
