Rationality behind organised supporters in Brazilian football

The book presents an application of game theory in order to complement what has been studied on this subject and to reach pertinent conclusions that challenge common sense. The theory of rational choice was used to study organised supporters in Brazilian football. Complementing psychology, sociology and anthropology, this point of view suggests that violence is the rational response, given the institutional environment, and that the state is wrong in its attempts to solve the problem.
