RCH services in slum areas of Jamnagar city

A study of availability of Reproductive and Child Health Services in slum areas of Jamnagar city, India. The RCH II program of Government of india was started in 2006 but there was no any proper and regular supervision and monitoring of the field work done by health workers, therefore it is always suspected that whether all the slum population having access to health services and receiving the benefits. The reporting of RCH services is collected and submitted monthly in form no. 7 from Health workers but many a times there are some of the unusual mistakes pointed out which raise the doubts about the accuracy of data. Therefore it becomes essential to find out the discrepancies in reporting. The study found out the ground realities of the RCH services( both from public and private sector). Whether these services are available to everyone from any sources as reported by health workers or whether there lies some discrepancies in reporting.
