In recent times, it has been seen that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has become present more frequently in the school environment, manifesting itself through behavioural problems or through learning difficulties in areas such as reading, writing and mathematics, so I considered doing a study in the area of reading to identify the level of reading comprehension of children with and without this disorder, The results showed that children with ADHD who are on medication perform as well as or better than children without ADHD. These results are of great importance to prevent some education professionals from labelling them as distracted, spoiled or lazy, and to encourage other colleagues to carry out similar studies in other areas to test other skills and competencies.
