Reading in the information age

This book reflects on the transformations that have taken place in reading practices and the reader-text relationship in the knowledge society. The book also presents a scenario of reading practices carried out by students on higher technological courses. Based on this scenario, it proposes a methodology for teaching and learning to read, focusing on entrants from different areas and courses in higher education. Finally, the book suggests some activities for working with this content in the classroom. This book is aimed at teachers, students and anyone interested in developing reading competence.
