Reading, Writing and Vocabulary Development for Learning English begins with phoneme-grapheme relationships to help English learners establish connections between sounds and their orthography, to teach the learners to make some kind of generalizations by applying these phoneme-grapheme relationships to similar words in English. Moreover, the learners are expected to study the effective ways of using dictionaries. In this lesson, the learners are guided to follow some effective steps of learning spelling such as pronouncing the word, understanding the meaning of the word, obtaining clear image of the word, writing the word, etc. There are model practice exercises to help them generate ideas. The reading passages are aimed at developing their abilities to comprehend passages and transfer the skills to similar situations. The fables are aimed at teaching how our ancestors transfer their philosophy of life to their children. The Paragraphs can help learners how to generate ideas and develop their paragraph writing abilities and how to advance to essay writing. The essays begin with outlines to facilitates generation of ideas.
