Reasoning Behaviour Across the Autism and Psychosis Continuums

The ability to reason and make decisions is an intrinsic part of human cognition. The extent to which reasoning processes are influenced by attenuated expressions of psychopathological traits is a timely and novel area to pursue. Exploring reasoning within the context of these traits may shed light on the pertinent cognitive processes often found in a wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders. As a result, more specific and specialised psychological assessments and interventions may be devised that can contribute to alleviating psychological distress.
