Recent Advances in Endodontic Microsurgery

Endodontic surgery has now evolved into endodonticmicrosurgery. It has witnessed major advances and is currently regarded as an integral part of standard endodontic treatment. It is a highly predictable treatment option in most cases when conventional endodontic treatment is not feasible. In recent years, microsurgery has been attempted more frequently with the emergence of modern cutting-edge technologies such as dental operating microscopes, various microsurgical instruments, and biocompatible materials, starting a new microsurgical era in surgical endodontics.
