The book entitled 'Recent Developments and Innovations in Historical studies and researches "incorporating seven essays on Madurai region from past to Modern period. All the seven essays are original research papers based on primary and secondary data. These essays focus on Rural tourism, Social and economic history, ICT development, Environmental history, Contemporary history and tribal studies along with tourism development.
