RECOGNITION AND RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM FOR DOMESTIC APPLIANCES

E-commerce is the activity of electronically buying or selling of products on online services or over the Internet. It is one of the most used ways of buying products. However, the user has to search for desired product across various e-commerce sites and come to a conclusion about the best product based on price and rating and purchase that product. This increases the need for a system that can automatically filter best product from various e-commerce sites and provide its details to the user.The existing system, Google lens helps solve this problem by listing down products from various sources so that user can directly choose products without actually having to visit that site. However, the results are not based on best prices or best ratings. It gives details of all available products. So, customers will have to go through all these products and find out the best product to purchase.We developed a web based system for the identification of the best kitchen appliance available in terms of its price and rating online. The input to the system is an image. The user can also select their desired brand. The system uses image recognition and web mining to understand what appliance is.
