Recognition of Emotion from Speech

Emotion Recognition from Speech aims to determine emotional state of a human being. Having information about users emotional states will improve the human-machine interactions (HMI) and therefore increase the productivity and satisfaction of the users. In this book emotion recognized using the fusion as well as individually for the features like Pitch, Formant Frequency, MFCC and DWT. Most of the previous researcher's work was tested on the Standard Databases but for this work Database designed for one of the Indian language, 'MARATHI'. All of the experiments are performed on Marathi Language Database only. This book may contribute emotion recognition applications for Marathi language.
