Recommendations for design and construction of cold rooms

Given the importance of cold rooms in the trade of the region, this book addresses the damage they suffer from its most hidden inside, such as the structure and internal molecules of this, to the design and construction of a real case located in the city of Hermosillo, Mexico. So the experience of restoring a damaged cold room, its commissioning, and the design and development of a new cold room will reveal the effectiveness, performance and quality of the design and construction process proposed in this document. In the search for durability in the structure and envelopes of cold rooms, a series of environmental situations are studied that must be foreseen during the construction process and specified, as well as the use of new products that help to obtain the product with the planned resistance and duration. The process of discarding some materials and selecting others, according to all the variables that intervene in the real project, undoubtedly leads to broaden the knowledge of the construction process of this type of buildings.

L'autore ha completato gli studi professionali presso l'Università di Sonora, ottenendo una laurea con lode e un master in Ingegneria civile. Ha conseguito un dottorato di ricerca in Educazione Superiore e vanta una carriera più che decennale come professore, durante la quale ha scritto articoli e documenti nazionali e internazionali e ha diretto tesi di laurea.
