Redefining Sociology

The author formulated new definition of sociology by deconstructed nine alphabets of word "SOCIOLOGY" keeping in the view definitions given by different scholars. He highlights the shortcomings of some definitions presented by scholars. The word sociology has been used to formulate new definition of sociology by giving meaning to every alphabet of the word sociology. Zygmunt Bauman's concept Liquid has been deconstructed to formulate the new definition. Peter Berger and Bourdieu have influential in formulating new definition of sociology. The new definition is expected to clear chaos and confusion created by diverse definitions especially to beginners of sociology. The book covers some basic concepts and a very brief introduction to Auguste Comte.
