Reference evapotranspiration for the semi-arid region of Ceará

This book presents basic concepts on reference evapotranspiration, highlighting the use of simple empirical models as a solution for estimating this phenomenon in regions with a shortage of meteorological data, as well as increasing the effectiveness of these models through local calibrations and spatialization of their estimates in the state of Ceará, Brazil. The book is aimed at university students studying Irrigation and Drainage Technology, Agricultural Engineering and Agronomy, among others.

Juarez Cassiano de Lima Junior is a Technologist in Irrigation and Drainage and has a Master's degree in Soil Science; Francisco Dirceu Duarte Arraes has a PhD in Physics of the Agricultural Environment and is a professor at the Federal Institute of Sertão do Pernambuco; Kleber Gomes de Macêdo is a Technologist in Irrigation and Drainage and a Master's student in Agricultural Engineering.
