Reflections on teaching

The professionalisation of teaching is based on the challenge of learning, of discovering the real meaning of being human. From this perspective, university teaching and the professionalisation of teachers must go through several stages, and take into account the experience of the school space with affinity between the basic education and university communities since childhood. In my work, my aim has always been to strengthen the links between these communities, to bring to light the importance of bringing them closer together with a proposal for continuing education and more complete training. Preparing future professionals for the school environment and bringing basic education students into line with the university environment. In the research, I address issues related to assessment, the production of teaching resources and the professionalisation of teachers in Brazil in the current scenario. In easy language, the texts provide information on the related topics and ways of working. I hope you enjoy reading it.

My name is Suzy Nascimento and I have a degree in Natural Sciences. I have experience with educational and research projects in public health. Between 2015 and 2018, I was the coordinator of the Science Circuit Evaluators Project in schools in the Federal District, and a monitor for a project that covers information on sexuality and teenage pregnancy.
