Reflective teacher training

This book brings together four chapters that address issues related to the role of reflection in teacher training and in the process of professional development. The book discusses various topics related to teacher training, with special emphasis on the space allocated to reflection in undergraduate programmes and in opportunities to begin teaching practice. The book reflects on the importance of teacher training courses encouraging teachers to reflect on issues related to classroom practice. It also reiterates the need for teaching professionals to invest in their professional development, since reflective training is, in fact, a process that is forever under construction.

Es doctora en Letras y Lingüística por la Universidad Federal de Goiás (2010), máster en Lingüística Aplicada por la Universidad de Brasilia (2004), licenciada en Lengua Inglesa y Literatura de Expresión en Lengua Inglesa por la Universidad Federal de Uberlândia (1999) y licenciada en Derecho por el CESUC.
