Waste oils from vehicle engines and industrial equipment contain harmful contaminants such as heavy metals, impurities and hazardous chemicals.This summary of waste oil purification highlights the significant advances made in this field. Innovative technologies and effective treatment methods have been developed to recover and purify these used oils, enabling them to be reused.Waste oil purification techniques include filtration, centrifugation, distillation, sulfuric acid treatment, washing with hot distilled water and clay decolorization/deodorization.
