Regenerative Endodontics

Vital pulp therapies depend on age of the patient, amount of pulp exposure and duration of the same and other factors. So results obtained from vital pulp therapies are rather unpredictable in terms of long term success. So the current interest is focused on the development of alternative dental tissue replacement therapies which leads to dental research to be conceded on the application of dental tissue engineering as a clinically relevant method for the regeneration of the dental tissues and generation of bioengineered whole tooth, which will expand the horizon of endodontic treatment.
