REGIONAL ANAESTHESIA OF FACE

We conducted a search on MEDLINE (through PubMed), EBSCO and Google Scholar articles of last 25 years i.e. between 1995 and 2020 for terms relating to regional anesthesia in oral and maxillofacial region, regional anesthesia in trauma, in soft tissue injuries. Research with relevant information and those published in English language were included. All records electronically identified were screened by title, abstract and keywords by author and the full text of all the reports considered potentially relevant was obtained and scanned. The keywords used in regional anesthesia in oral and maxillofacial region were regional anesthesia in trauma, in soft tissue injuries, Myofascial pain, Space infection, Orthognathic surgery, Trigeminal neuralgia, Exodontia, Rhinoplasty, Soft tissue management, Cancer pain management.
