Rehabilitation in Ankylosing Spondylitis

All patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS), who use physiotherapy as an integral part of their therapy have a more significant result in the improvement of mobility and muscle strength, in pain sedation, in the increasing of functional capacity and in re-gaining autonomy in daily activities. All therapeutic modalities in the whole course of pathology have a special importance such as Kinesiotherapy, Massage therapy Electrotherapy, thermo/cryotherapy, Hydrotherapy, occupational therapy, etc.

Rezarta Stena has been graduated on Master Degree and has obtained her Diploma thesis in 2014 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tirana, Albania. She works at the Albanian University as a lecturer for rehabilitative disciplines. She is the author of some articles published at the journal of the university.
