Relational Database Design Tool

The book emphasizes on designing and implementation of relational database design tool that can be used for learning relational database design concepts like identifying the candidate key & super key, identify the kind of present normal forms for the inputted schema, checking & learning of other issues related to normalization i.e. check whether decomposition is lossless or lossy after decomposition whether dependencies are preserving or not. For doing the same tutorials have been developed, also graphical user interface view is developed for helping users (student, faculty) to learn relational database (design) concepts easily. The learning phenomena used in this framework is similar to the teaching style. The learner can be learning above design concepts in a web-based manner interactively.

Mr. Harish Kumar Shakya is pursuing Ph.D. in CSE Department from IIT-(BHU) Varanasi. His research area is social network analysis and computation. He received M.E. degree in CSE Department from SGSITS,Indore. He has around 3 years of teaching and research experience. His B.E. degree received in Information Technology from RJIT BSF Academy Gwalior.
