Relevant Bodily Abuse and Degrading Treatment of Children

The present study constitutes a general description with the purpose of providing guidelines for further research on the subject of relevant mistreatment and degrading treatment of children, with a focus on the difficulties of interpretation that arise as a result of the normative wording. One of the characteristics to highlight is the effort to complement the purely juridical sense of the institutions under study with the knowledge granted by related social sciences, such as sociology and psychology.
