Religion based politics in the Indian Subcontinent
Details
Religion and politics have, historically, been the most influential and most pervading issues in human civilization. Religion seeks to provide the ultimate peace and security while politics shows the way of prosecuting all state affairs. These two issues reflect rays from separate directions and expected never to be amalgamated. The lesson of history is that, the merging of religion and politics has always brought negative payment for human being. Religion based politics has become a holy debated question in the Indian Subcontinent especially in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The objective of this book is to clarify how nakedly the sacred religions have been used, misused, and abused by the political authorities.
