Repair of metal-cutting machines by composite materials

The monograph describes the main methods of restoring the main units of metal-cutting machines by composite materials, which allow the high efficiency to put into operation the units and parts most often prone to wear and others damages. The technical characteristics of composite materials and the rules of their application during the execution of repair work are given in it. The technologies of repairing of various parts and units of metal cutting equipment, including guard-rails, supporting surfaces under bearings, shafts and so on are described in details too. The results of investigations of the mechanical properties of composite materials are given in it, what will make it possible to carry out repair work successfully. The book is intended for a wide range of technical specialists working in mechanical engineering, as well as for students of technical specialties of mechanical universities.
