Report On Social Mobilization and Institutional Building

The book is intended to make a contribution towards Social mobilization and institution building going in India by NRLM. This study shows the present scenario of different villages in Khatima block of Udham Singh Nagar district in Uttarakhand on the initiatives took by SRLM about mobilizing the women's in villages to form an SHG groups. The motive of formation of SHG group is to help the poor women's to utilize their skills collectively and create livelihood among themselves by taking up micro-finance assistance from the financial institutions. The study is conducted during March - April month of 2016, to study the SHG's in different scales of parameter to know the outputs of SRLM initiatives to mobilize and form SHG groups. The analyzing tables and charts are formed based on the primary data collected during the village visits, it consists of Panchasutra analysis, Education analysis, Age group analysis and Livelihood analysis of SHG members on overall basis, it also shows the reasons for women's to form in the group in different villages.

I am graduated in Agriculture engineering, presently pursuing PGDRDM (Post graduation diploma in rural development management) from National Institute of Rural Development,Hyd.
