Reproductive Health Knowledge of School-Going Adolescent

Adolescent reproductive issues have become the concern of national governments as well as the international communities after ICPD1994. Adolescent phase is transition from childhood to youth. In this phase biological and physiology -social changes occurs and due to this they search information related to pubertal changes, reproduction and sexuality from various modes like television, peers, friends, etc. Most of the time the massage was incorrect which results in confusion, frustration, despair and risk taking behavior. This book provides preferred sources of information for adolescents to receive reproductive health issues knowledge. Opinion to add reproductive health related issues in school curricula. We have already entered in to dangerous zone, where our children may under threat by possible sexual abuse, sex scandals, sex related crime, per-marital pregnancy,and HIV/AIDS therefore reproductive health knowledge may help them to protect them self. This book is useful for adolescent,researchers, policy makers,schools,Government workers,syllabus designers, National and International NGO's who are working on adolescent and reproductive health matters.

MSW(1997) from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar M.University Aurangabad.He has worked as senior research officer at IIPS Mumbai and currently working as Assistant Professor at college of social work in India
