Nanoscience and Nanotechnology is about controlling and understanding matter on the nanometer and atomic scale. The development of sophisticated new laboratory techniques recently allowed scientists to monitor, measure, and manipulate matter at the nanoscale level. Dr. Ujjal Kumar Sur works as a lecturer in Chemistry at Instituteof Engineering and Industrial Technology, Durgapur, India.He is also a visiting scientist at Department of Chemistry, XiamenUniversity, China. His research interests are electrochemistry,microwave chemistry, nanotechnology and surface-enhanced Ramanspectroscopy.
