RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: FROM PROBLEM STATEMENT TO RESEARCH QUESTIONS

This Lecture Notes titled, Research Methodology: From Problem Statement to Research Questions aims to explain the essential aspects of the first chapter or section of a research project. The focus on "from problem statement to the research question" is considered important because the success/failure of a research endeavor depends seriously on how the research problem is constructed, and a good research problem determines the construction of suitable research objectives and research questions. Readers of Research Methodology: From Problem Statement to Research Questions should have their skills for preparing grantable proposals and final research reports improved. Examiners and reviewers of proposals may as well find the book useful for setting guidelines to be used for selecting research proposals for support and taking a decision on how a final research report should be scored.
