Regarding the significance of the proficiency test to learners, validity, reliability, fairness of the test is imperative, considering students' a wide range of cultural, academic and linguistic backgrounds. XI (2010) points out that comparison of testing practices and test results across various groups is the fundamental focus of fairness in the context of testing. Taking into account these points, I created a fair assessment which gives reliable results in spite of the discrepancies in culture and test takers' individuality. In my assessments, I provided topics covered in the classroom as students' familiarity or unfamiliarity with topics employed in the test has a great impact on the outcome of the test. Puspawati (2014) states that test takers might come across hardships to comprehend the topic which demands new knowledge or unfamiliar cultural knowledge.
