Research on the English Translation of Cultural Images in Chu Ci

This book deals with the English translation of cultural images in Chu Ci (The Songs of the South). Firstly, this book introduces the early Chinese culture implied in Chu Ci as well as the image construction by means of translation. And then, three cases are analyzed to show how early Chinese image is shaped in translating Chu Ci. Lastly, this book probes into the disturbing factors of the variation of the cultural image of ancient China in the translation process of Chu Ci and puts forward the strategies for objectively disseminating the image of China.
