The book "RESEARCHING IN FOREIGN TRADE" explores two key investigations on logistics and climate change in Colombian ports. The first research focuses on the logistics strategies to be implemented in the port of San Andres Islands to increase its competitiveness in the face of the new needs of Colombian international trade. The second addresses the effects of climate change on the logistics chain of Sociedad Portuaria del Dique S.A., analyzing how climate phenomena such as sea level rise and extreme events impact port operations and what measures can be taken to mitigate these effects. Taken together, this research offers a comprehensive view of the challenges and opportunities in port management in a context of climate change and globalization.
