Reservoir Rock Characterization

This study is an integrated approach that may provide valuable and additional information for better understanding the extremely heterogeneous reservoir sands with reference to its mineralogical, type of clay, diagenetic alterations, textural characteristics, petro physical properties. This information will help the oil organization to select the techniques of water flood and other methods for exploration of left over hydrocarbons in the reservoirs. Moreover, this study is an interdisciplinary work and it will bring coordination among the oil exploration and producing organizations, research institutes and academicians of the country.
